This procedure has been developed for measure features in gear pictures

Syntax

[I,ax]=imreadui([fname,clip])

Input Parameter

fname: filename optional; default is user request
clip: clipping frame; default is user selection

Output Parameter

I: Clipped Image
ax: Axes of the clipped and scaled image

Examples

Just try different parameter use:
[I,ax]=imreadui;
[I,ax]=imreadui('FUTABA1.JPG');
[I,ax]=imreadui('FUTABA1.JPG',[152 578 235 617]);
